What do I get on the Free plan?
Mack checks your theme once a week and tells you when something changes, and which app most likely did it. You can see what changed, but Free doesn't keep backups you can restore. Detective and Pro keep restorable backups from the day you join.
How does the free trial work?
Detective and Pro both come with a 7-day free trial. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel at no cost before then.
How am I billed?
Billing goes through Shopify. Your MacSleuth plan appears on your normal Shopify bill, so there's no separate card to add.
Can I change plans or cancel anytime?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time from your Shopify admin. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees.
What is theme history?
Theme history is how far back Mack keeps track of your theme files. Free tracks 7 days of changes so you can see what changed, but can't restore them. Detective keeps 90 days of restorable backups and Pro keeps a full year. Backups start from the day you join a paid plan, so it pays to have them in place before something breaks.
What does Priority Support mean?
Pro customers' support requests go to the front of the queue.
Will MacSleuth slow down my store?
No. MacSleuth runs scans in the background using Shopify's API. It doesn't add any scripts or code to your storefront, so there's zero impact on your store's performance.
Is my data secure?
Yes. We only access theme files and app data necessary for diagnostics. We never access customer data, orders, or payment information. Read our Privacy Policy for details.
